I designed a new label reminiscent of this old bottle and created the Diamond Collection Black Label Claret, which is our company’s most recognized offering. Francis Coppola Diamond Collection 2016 Yellow Label Sauvignon Blanc

2016 saw California’s first rainy winter in years. An ideal amount of precipitation at the beginning of the season was followed by warm spring temperatures a few weeks ahead of schedule. Over the course of the vintage, the grapes matured slowly, developing flavor intensity and optimal balance.

Sauvignon Blanc is an aromatic varietal. To capture its fresh, vibrant scent and maintain the fruit’s crisp natural acidity the wine is fermented and finished in stainless steel.

Yellow Label Sauvignon Blanc is sourced from several locations with each appellation contributing specific nuances: juicy tropical fruit flavors from Alexander Valley, floral notes from Lake County, and citrus and mineral nuances from Sonoma Valley.
